Today the Amp CLI reached the next stage in its evolution.
It’s no longer just a command-line tool, but a proper terminal user interface — fullscreen, responsive, fast, and built on our own framework.
Our framework now lets us do things that were previously awkward or impossible: smooth scrolling while tool calls stream in, real mouse interactions with the transcript and the rest of the interface, overlays, popups, and clickable buttons.
But maybe most importantly: no flicker. No jarring redraws. No stuttering text.
And without flicker, really, anything’s possible.
