How I use Amp

Where do you talk to Amp most: terminal, editor, web, phone, Slack?
Web, mostly on my phone.
Favorite mode, and when do you switch?
Ultra & High.
Do you still develop locally? If so, when?
Nothing local anymore. Everything’s in orbs.
What’s a workflow with Orbs that you absolutely love?
Asking the agent to take screenshots and verify its own work. Long-lived orb threads I come back to for weeks.
How do you review changes?
From the agent’s proof — screenshots, videos, PDFs.
Which skills, plugins, or MCPs do you use? Anything you built for yourself?
Very little. A deck skill for Amp-branded slides.
How do you use Puck?
Puck mostly on mobile and Slack for quick stuff like checking on threads and checking on old threads.
What’s a prompt or phrase you keep reusing?
take screenshots, verify your work so its undeniably high quality
I still ask Amp to use the oracle a lot too.
What do you still do by hand, and why?
Not much. Downloading the file, pasting a link, the final send.
Anything else? A surprising thing Amp did, a thing that didn’t work, a thing you wish it did.
Always surprised by the boring stuff it just does — renaming a PowerPoint, converting to PDF, restyling a deck, A4 artwork, splitting a zip under 25MB.
